今日紹介する動画では、無償で人の命に貢献する男性の動画です。

「人を死なせない」という強い意志を感じることができます。

In rural India, there is a man who did the impossible using this made up basic ambulance.
インドの農村に、作られたこの必要最小限の救急車を用いて不可能なことをした男性がいます。

And in the middle of Covid-19, he saved a thousand other lives! 
Covid-19の最中、彼は1000人もの命を救いました。

I am just a phone call away whether it’s night or day!
夜であろうと昼であろうと、私は電話一本で捕まります。

Who is he?! Why is he doing this?! And how could this farmer afford to build a hospital?!
彼は誰なんでしょう?!彼はなぜこのようにしているのでしょう?!さらにこの農家はどのようにして病院を建設する余裕があったのでしょうか？

In this small village in India. I found Karimul.
インドのこの小さな村で、私はKarimulを発見しました。

Hi! I am Karimul! Everyone calls me Ambulance dada!
やあ、私はKarimulです! みんなは私のことを救急車パパと呼びます。

Years ago… Karimul’s mother fell really sick, so sick that he had to find a way to get her to a hospital.
数年前…Karimulの母はひどく気分が悪かった、とても具合が悪かったため彼は母を病院へ連れて行く方法を見つけなければなりませんでした。

But he lives far, far away and in these remote villages there are no hospitals.
しかし彼は遠く離れたところに住んでおり、離れた村には病院はありません。

So he went door to door asking for help but nobody could find help what are they supposed to do?
そのため彼は助けをもとめ戸別訪問しましたが、誰も助けを見つけることができませんでした、彼らは何をすることになっているのか。

The next morning… his mother died…
次の日の朝、彼の母は亡くなりました。

My worse day was when… my mom passed away.
私の最悪の日は…母が亡くなったときでした。

I swore to her body that I will never let any person in the village die without treatment.
私は彼女の体に、治療無しでは村の誰も死なせないことを誓いました。

I will do this for the rest of my life.
私は残りの人生でこれをやります。

A few months later his friend got bitby a snake and Karimul knew he could not lose another life.
数カ月後、彼の友人は蛇に噛まれ、Karimulは彼が別の命を失うことができないことを知りました。

So without wasting any time, he put his friend on his bike tied him to his back and rode 50 kilometers to the hospital and saved his life!
そこで、時間を失うことなくかれは友人をバイクに乗せ、彼を後ろに縛り付け、病院まで50 km乗り、彼の命を救った。

That day I realized that one bike can save peoples lives.
その日、私は一台のバイクが人々の命を救えることに気が付きました。

So he decided to turn his motorbike into  a made up ambulance!
そこで彼は、バイクを救急車に変えることに決めました。

He started bringing sick people to the hospital on his small bike for free!
彼は病気の人々を小さなバイクで無料で病院に連れて行き始めました！

Day by day… One by one!
1日1日… 1人1人

He made his way over rivers! through bad traffic and rough roads where even an ambulance couldn’t go!
彼は川を超えました！交通渋滞や救急車が行けない粗い道を通って。

As he saved more and more lives the same people who made fun of him in the beginning now called him for help!
彼がより命を救うに連れ、はじめは彼をからかっていた人々も今や彼に助けを求めました！

And he became their hero!
そして彼は彼らのヒーローになりました！

I am just a phone call away whether it’s night or day!
夜であろうと昼であろうと、私は電話一本で捕まります。

But Karimul didn’t stop there!
しかしKarimulはそこで止まりませんでした。

He learned first aidtraining, organised health campsand even had his bike fitted with a waterproof stretcher!
彼は応急処置トレーニングを学び、健康キャンプを組織し、さらに彼のバイクに防水ストレッチャーをつけました。

So that patients have a more comfortable ride!
患者がより快適に乗れるように。

I only have one purposein life that is to serve people serve people, serve people!
私は人生で一つの目的を持っておりそれは人々に奉仕すること、人々に奉仕すること、人々に奉仕することだけです。

Pretty soon he was all over the news and people donated from all around the world.
すぐに彼はニュースになり、世界中から人々が寄付しました。

And this is the best part!
そしてこれは最高の部分です。

He saved up so much money from donations that he ended up building an entire FREE HOSPITAL.
彼は寄付からたくさんのお金を節約し、最後に彼は無料の病院を建てました。

That’s right!
そうです！

This man who came from nothing who knew nothing about medicine is now building his own hospital in the very remote areas that needs hospitals.
何もないところから来た、医学について何も知らないこの男性は今、病院を必要とするとても離れた地域に彼の病院を建てているのです。

And when the pandemic hit, Karimul carried Covid patients to the hospital and also carried dead bodies to the graveyard when no other ambulance would.
そしてパンデミックになったとき、Karimulはコロナ患者を病院に運び、さらに他の救急車がしなかった死体を墓地へ運ぶということもしました。

There was a girl in the village, she can hardly breathe and because of corona no man wanted to help. So I took her. I gave her mouth to mouth CPR when she took a little breath. I brought her to the hospital and 4 days later they said she had no corona. If not who knows what would have happened to my life.
村に少女がいました、彼女はほとんど呼吸ができず、コロナのためだれも助けたくありませんでした。そこで私は彼女を連れていきました。彼女が少し息をしたとき、私は口対口でCPRを与えました。私は彼女を病院に運び、4日後に彼らは彼女はコロナではないと言いました。そうでなければ、私の人生に起こったことを誰も知りません。

Karimul went from being a tuk-tuk driver to saving lives and building hospitals!
Karimulはtuk-tukの運転手になることから命を救い病院を建てることになりました！

This guy is the reason humanity is beautiful.
この男性は人類が美しい理由です。
